The steel tape measure has an elastic and resistant polyamide sheath and is therefore protected against breakage, pressure and impact damage. It is largely corrosion-resistant and has a virtually abrasion-proof graduation. The triangular frame is made of anodized light metal and has an impact-resistant plastic handle with a nickel-plated metal crank.
