The accuracy guaranteed by the manufacturer is often given in degrees. Here you can convert degrees to millimeters. Enter the length of the long leg in 'c mm' and the accuracy guaranteed by the manufacturer in 'alpha °'.
Checking the angle with two measurements
All you need for this check is a plate with a straight edge, a pencil and a calliper gauge.
- Hold the angle with the short leg against the plate and draw a line along the long leg.
- Turn the angle as shown in the illustration. Draw the second line.
- Measure the distance between the two lines.
- Half the measured distance is the angle tolerance.
